Well hello, past couple weeks have been busy for me too, I just tested latest relased version of this mod on 0.95 RWR and it worked (it stars and the stuff is in there as intended)

Based on what you wrote there I think we can exclude most basic things that might cause your problem. Like not declaring the mod or playing on campain mode.

I think it would be best to check that the dowload and extraction has been successfull -- aka. go into the mod folder and in there go to weapons / faction file and check what you find in them. There is not too many files but accessing something like gray faction file and cheking the faction name it should state "Dem Zombes" - IIRC. And there should be zombe.character file too.

If you cant find those there is something funny that happened during the process and you should redownload the mod..

If all that is ok, please check in game that when starting the custom map does the faction names change when you add this mod to the map? Those will change if the mod is "set correctly".

Otherwise I'm lost because I cant remember having this kind of problem during my tests.

hey, I have some ideas for this.


would be nice if there was an automatic weapon for the survivors, so here is an idea take the uzi from my tact ops mod and make it a primary for your survivors (also take the deagles)


how about adding a cop sub class, this would be armed with a shotgun and a vest, though the vest is useless against the zombies.

I switched to the Steam version the other day and noticed I can't install mods for it (there's no overlays folder). I'll try V4 for the Desura version once it has updated.

It's working now in the Desura version. Not sure what went wrong last time.

Alrighty then, Version 5 of the Zombie Mod. No realy content updates, but there is a metric butt-ton of animations added. New melee animations for both zombies and survivors - zombies will try to whack you over the head with their fists, while survivors will try to punch zombies. Zombies also have a shiny new idle and running animation!
