![]() The enemy has destroyed your fleet and broken your forces abroad. Now they sit at the very doorstep of your nation, ready to take everything you've earned. How long against the onslaught can you last when the enemy has superior numbers, armor, and air superiority? Welcome to D-Day. This is not meant to be an exact replication of D-Day, only meant to capture the feeling of it. However, the standard weapon loadouts of each participating faction (Wehrmacht, US Army) is historically accurate. The Wehrmacht by this time is far more defensive after suffering defeats in the east and in North Africa, with better accuracy while stationary making a dug-in soldier difficult to uproot without losing men. The US Army is more offensive with better accuracy on movement and various weapons that can be fired on the move that otherwise couldn't be. The script is based off of the one that Majster uses in his Wave Defense mod, but tweaked to fit the gameplay. To install, unpack the mod into your Packages folder in " RunningWithRifles/media/packages". Start up the game, start a Quick Match, scroll over to the map, and begin! hello there its quite rare to see new content now and then and i just wanna say that i love your work so far. curious, but would it be possible to become the invading force? i had some hard time to get the US to actually invade the beach but if i become the invading force it would be much simpler and varied. splendid job on the awesome map btw! |

The US should automatically start their attack after 3 minutes of preparation. Trust me, you'll know when that happens. ![]() An update that makes that a bit easier is coming out soonish, but I still haven't managed to survive all 10 waves even with 3 other people. |
