Simple question. If it requires lots of modding knowledge, how would one go about learning the necessary stuffs? If there isn't/won't be a way...then dang...that'd have a lot of potential, I think.

There is, the same way we create them. You need at least Inkscape and ImageMagick to make the stuff happen.

JackMayol has been intending to re-start with a map making tutorial at some point, but unfortunately it keeps getting delayed because of other things to do to advance the game development.

A few years ago a map making contest was held viewtopic.php?f=2&t=493, it might have some hints too, but most of it is probably outdated by now.

Awesome! I can definitely understand the delay on that tutorial. ACTUAL game development always comes first. Thanks for the link/stating what it is I would need. Never done anything like this before, so if I get the time to actually try.. it will be a slow and likely painful process.
