Simple question. :) If it requires lots of modding knowledge, how would one go about learning the necessary stuffs? If there isn't/won't be a way...then dang...that'd have a lot of potential, I think. :)

There is, the same way we create them. You need at least Inkscape and ImageMagick to make the stuff happen.

This placeholder page in the wiki won't get you far, but it exists:

JackMayol has been intending to re-start with a map making tutorial at some point, but unfortunately it keeps getting delayed because of other things to do to advance the game development.

A few years ago a map making contest was held viewtopic.php?f=2&t=493, it might have some hints too, but most of it is probably outdated by now.

Awesome! I can definitely understand the delay on that tutorial. ACTUAL game development always comes first. :D Thanks for the link/stating what it is I would need. Never done anything like this before, so if I get the time to actually try.. it will be a slow and likely painful process. :P
