Some people are banned on the official invasion servers. Being banned means banned for ever.
However, we are willing to unban them if they apologize and promise to never behave wrong as this would instantly turn into a ban for ever without turning back. We are NOT unbanning people automatically.

So, if you are banned, feel free to send me a PM (or talk to me on IRC) and we'll handle your case.

Hmm.... unfortunately I don't believe someone who is banned will say that he regrets...
In fact all those people are some kind of wretches and their stats/ratios are bad or even negative so that they do not care about their nicknames. They are into the servers ONLY to spoil the others gaming and to satisfy their sick ego.

I think it is very good to allow procedure of getting forgivnes. Whether anybody will choose to use it or not - their buissnes, not mine. People do change with time, they grow up, they learn and they do mistakes. So it is good that there is a chance for remose But good that only once ^^ And only for those who will actually make an effort to make it happen.

Seems you didn't get my point. I am not against forgiveness as a whole, I said that those people are not concerned about their actions and the consequences.
Either way steam IDs ban makes things clear.

We need a code of conduct so that new players can have no excuse for acting the way some of them sadly do.

On the {SAS} Servers it's quite simple, if you get reported for the following and we find out the report has merit then you are banned; no appeals, no comebacks, no tolerance:

Racist Language / Player-names
Homophobic Language / Player-names
Admin abuse
Repeated anti-social behaviour

With over 13 years of server hosting we have seen it all, and as at the end of the day the servers we run reflect on us as a Clan then we don't really care if you have had a bad day, or that you are sorry you called someone a "f*cking f*g n*gg*r f*cking c*nt" because they killed you, you are no longer welcome to play on our servers that we pay for and we spend time maintaining and updating.

Playing on our servers is not a right, it is a privilege, and if you abuse it then it will be taken from you and you can go buy your own box and pay with your own money for the monthly hosting costs. Or not, as I have said previously, we don't really care.




P.S. Oh man, once 1.0 hits I am gonna overload Pasik with requests for features for the back end, hehe, it needs a lot more functionality that it has at the moment and is missing some important features that can really help out us Server Admin, but until then we will just continue doing things the hard way and I will cut him some slack

?

They get added to the username ban list - banning usernames and banning players are slightly different. If they persist, I would ask Jack for their Steam IDs and permaban them.
