what difference does that make other than to disconnect instead? that method is already pretty similar to what you just suggested.
nah dude, why not just disable friendly fire from explosives? its a win win. with that, no exploitation of the tk and no griefers going on a bombing spree fragging other players.
that way the only thing we worry about is being run over by other players in cars, its more unpredictable and terrifying. that is also much less possible to exploit.
