Post subject: | Linux multimonitor issue |
Hello I use a 3 monitor setup and this game will not use my main monitor or detect it's resolution until I disable the other 2. In unity games I can configure the resolution manually in a prefs file but I can't seem to find one for RWR. So basically my issue is I can't get the game to display on the correct monitor. Ubuntu 13.10 x64 w/ kernel 3.12.8 GTX 650 Ti Boost 2gb Nvidia 331.38 drivers Thanks for the help. |

There seems to be a monitorIndex parameter I could pass to Ogre3D, I'd expect that to do what you're looking for. I'll look into adding that for 0.94. |

Fantastic, thank you. I'm sure many linux users will appreciate this =) |

Seems I was being more hopeful than I should've, appears monitorIndex is only related to Windows side of things. Anyhow, I'll keep looking around. I basically have the same issue on my Linux laptop connected to a TV so I am able to test the stuff myself for Ubuntu. |

Something you did helped, after the update it at least detects the resolution and starts on the correct monitor but now I have another issue...the mouse gets stuck, like dead spots on a joystick. It seems what it happening is it is launching windowed even though I told it fullscreen, and the mouse goes all nuts in windowed. Like I have to move it diagonally or else it gets stuck. If I disable the other 2 monitors it runs in fullscreen just fine. |

Anyhow, I'm getting something similar on my Ubuntu test setup when having two monitors enabled and play fullscreen. It's as if it thinks the fullscreen mode was successful for the second monitor while it in fact appears on the first monitor as windowed, and, mouse area is somehow clamped to a wrong size. It works fine windowed or by disabling the other monitor or going clone with the monitors, if I'm remembering it right. |

You are probably right, I think i got it to start on the correct screen from mucking with the settings but I don't remember now (getting old) But yes, what you are experiencing sounds about right. |

http://www.ogre3d.org/forums/viewtopic. ... 8&start=25 Maybe this thread will be some help. There seems to be a solution with using SDL2 code |
