The idea seems to be a bit more fit for an RPG or MMO game, not exactly the life-fast-die-fast kind of deal that RWR has. It's certainly creative, I can say that much. I rather like the idea in general, however - special keys required to open crates with goodies inside. I think that could be applied to the rest of the RWR maps with awesome results.
However, not sure if it's possible with scripting - I'm fairly certain you can't do that with the current scripting possibilities. It *may* become possible after the coding script for the release of Steam Workshop, but don't count on it. If this does get implemented, it would have to be at the core level with pretty heavy developer support.
