sure thing! Not everyone wants to be dependent of a digital distribution platform, so don't worry about it ;)
The Desura method is just more convenient with auto patches. You don't need to check your BMT micro Mail with the update link (that unfortunately some guys are deleting by mistake and then pasik has to manually resend it which is ok for a few guys but since the community is growing quite a bit, it may be a bigger deal in the future) :)

Just a suggestion - it would be better if Desura start providing at the same time a separate update for each new version, not only the whole installer every time when a new one is up. ;)

I work quickly, cheaply and qualitatively. You can choose only two of the three options.

We gladly use any automation Desura provides and we've noticed they update the branches themselves if we just supply the installer and full packages. It takes some time, usually just a few days tops, but any time we can remove from our hands with releasing updates means more time for actual development.

Releasing updates as such starts to be a bitch with both PC and Linux, +Mac starting in 0.99, with both Steam and Desura to be handled.

@DIO

Aren't you on Steam? Or just prefer the stand-alone version from Desura?
(Which I do try to download and keep up to date myself incase steam gets messed up. And because I like knowing I have my own copy without 3rd party client.)

I don't like steam much. I feel like someone has my own games and I must pay to play rented so better to have them recorded on a disc. ;)
Out of steam means out of any possible troubles imo. :lol:
