Ok the shotgun is cool, kinda different also I prefer rifles but I've been enjoying the shotgun. But anyway, only one problem with the shotguns that makes it very akward to use. Hitting "reload" only reloads one shell, instead of the entire clip. Just a heads up, course for all I know Pasik already knew that >.>

I actually kinda like it that way. I hate games where you press one button and clips go in. I want to do that myself. :#

Now, one thing I see is the shots seem to stay together from longer ranges, and not spread out as much.

True, but shotguns ARE fairly ranged. Unlike most FPS games seem to portray. Out of realistic features, it's cool but....either A I say change it....or B add an AA12 semi auto shotgun. If he does then I won't complain lol.

I've been sniped by shotguns from across the screen and it is a bit irritating. I feel shotguns are a tad overpowered. To adjust, I would increase the delay between each consecutive shot and increase the spread of the bullets (as above mentioned). This will make the shotgun more effective in face to face combat and less of a sniping danger.

Shotguns actually have a relatively tight grouping at the ranges engagements take place in this game. What I would suggest is to have some kind of drop-off to damage over distance, so rifles do more damage at longer ranges, but a shotshell won't do much over the same distance. The same could also be applied to the MP5, which uses subsonic pistol rounds which naturally have a shorter 'range' than rifles typically do.

Agreed. Shotgun spread will be increased and the shot lethality range needs to be reduced.

I'm also going to modify weapon commonness a bit, I think 0.59 has equal probability of finding any weapon type.

of course shot gun is an overpowered weapon, now i win every game with it :)
just made my RMB to reload, standing in the corner and sniping the enemies one by one, its a sniper rifle for me :D !!!

of course you're right that shotgun is overpowered weapon, and it's usually used for shooting or sometimes a sort of self defense.
