RWR will be released in Desura most likely in the next few days, maybe even sooner . Steam is an option and has been considered, sure. But there is some time anyway till RWR goes 1.0

And yes, BMTMicro purchases can be transferred to Desura.

Steam is on the target, but it's not even a possibility until the game becomes 1.0 - I believe Steam doesn't have a system similar to Desura's Alpha Funding.

What if I buy with Desura? Will I be able to play it on steam if it ever comes to that? I don't use Desura much except for mods.

Ya, it is planned that RWR will be released on steam for 1.0.
We don't know yet if the purchases will be transferable, but most likely. We will investigate into it and let you know.

I really hope they will be. I prefer Steam as my client for games on PC. Probably a simple answer but how exactly does transferring a game to steam from Desura work? I assume it's like when you install a mod for a steam game using it. Select your steam account and then it will put it on your library.

Edit: I have never used this BMTmicro service. Am I correct that if I purchase using that then if it does go to steam I will get a key for it?
